Inspirational and Motivational Words of Wisdom March 25, 2011

Below are some words of wisdom – think about each of them/reflect on them 🙂 These are the quotes that are good to the soul.

“Part of being who you are has to do with feeling your feelings, which means you’ll have a wide range of emotions–not just constant sunshiny happiness.” – Janet Gonzalez-Mena

“There is a beautiful child inside every child. Put your energy into finding that child.” Janet Gonzalez-Mena

“The best kind of play costs nothing and really only has one main requirement — imagination.” – Deborah Leong

“I’m not here to save the world, I’m just here to make a difference in the community I am working. To me making a difference may sometimes mean helping one child be able to be successful in the classroom. One little sparkle makes a difference for me.” Raymond Hernandez from Video: The Passion for Early Childhood

“Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.” Dr. Seuss

Free the child’s potential, and you will transform him into the world.”
– Maria Montessori

  1. ROCK ON DR. SEUSS!!! My personal favorite! This is a great quote to have at the top of the memory bank as we strive to up the “anty” as we create more anti-bias environments in our field! Thanks for making me smile!

  2. Thank you for sharing Raymond Hernandez’s quote. I would like to think that if we each strive to make a difference in our own community, then we can change the world.

  3. Hi Amy! I just wanted to take a moment to say “thanks” for sharing your knowledge and yourself during this class. I have really enjoyed getting to know you and the passion behind what you do. I hope that you will continue to post on your blog as I look forward to seeing the email pop up in my inbox notifying me of an update. Good luck on your journey in the MS program as well as your journey impacting lives. I appreciate all that you do for our future generations!
